Complete Royal Canadian Navy group belonging to J.H. Tanton (V-12301). Group includes his tommy helmet, officers visor, both his naval tunics, various patches and insignia, a larger Royal Canadian Navy flag, his personal photo album, and other various items. This group was given to me by family friends to display, and no medals were included. A very nice example of a complete and untouched group with photographic records and a wide variety of militaria.

This fabulous group is comprised of Szitowski’s uniform and pants, WW2 medals, original Canadian Parachute Corps brass cap badge and Canadian Parachute Corps bakelight plastic cap badge, pay book and documents, photos and a wooden named plaque- as well as multiple loose WW2 parachute wings and insignia. Note white strip on uniform shoulder board and stitched paratrooper insignia on shoulders.

RFC WW1 medal grouping, belonging to PTE D.R. PATTIE, 2/CAN: DIV:HQ. The group includes his RFC wings, graduation certificate, paybook, WW1 medal trio (including 1914/1915 star, Victory Medal and Silver War Medal) and his photo album. Photos of D.R. Pattie are including in his photo album, which includes various pictures of WW1 era planes and crashes.

WWI Canadian field artillery journal, field guide and division marked 1918 Christmas Card. All items are named to “Sergt. F Somers 2nd How Battery C. F. A.” His journal includes detailed accounts of shelling German positions, types of shells fired (including gas shells), and other personal accounts.
